한미 자유·안보 협력의 새로운 거점 마련

“대한민국의 자유와 안보를 지키자”

사단법인 한미자유안보정책센터(KAFSP)는 미국 뉴욕에서 지부 창립 발대식을 성황리에 개최하며 글로벌 안보 네트워크 확대의 본격적인 출발을 알렸다.

이번 발대식은 뉴욕 현지 주요 인사들과 동포 사회 지도층, 한미 군·정계 및 안보 관계자들이 참석한 가운데 엄숙하면서도 뜻깊은 분위기 속에서 진행되었다. 행사에는 약 100여 명 이상의 주요 인사가 참석하여 KAFSP의 비전과 사명에 대한 높은 관심과 지지를 확인할 수 있었다.

행사는 기념 예배로 시작되었으며, 참석자들은 대한민국의 자유민주주의 수호와 한미동맹 강화를 위한 사명에 뜻을 함께했다. 이어 진행된 발대식에서는 뉴욕지부 설립의 의미와 향후 활동 방향이 공식적으로 발표되었다.

특히 참석자들은 다음과 같은 핵심 과제를 강조했다.

KAFSP 관계자는“뉴욕지부 출범은 단순한 지역 조직 확대를 넘어, 한미 자유와 안보 가치를 세계적으로 확산하는 중요한 출발점”이라며“앞으로 정책 연구, 국제 교류, 교육 및 캠페인을 통해 글로벌 안보 플랫폼으로 성장해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편 KAFSP는 서울 본부를 중심으로 국내외 지부 설립을 확대하며 자유민주주의 가치 확산과 국제 안보 협력 강화를 위한 다양한 활동을 지속적으로 추진하고 있다.

The Korea-America Freedom & Security Policy Center (KAFSP) officially inaugurated its New York Chapter in a formal launch ceremony, marking a significant step in strengthening bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Korea and the United States in the areas of freedom, security, and strategic policy.

The ceremony was attended by over 100 distinguished guests, including leaders from the Korean-American community, former military officials, policy experts, and representatives from various civic and security-related organizations. The event reflected strong support for KAFSP’s mission to promote democratic values and reinforce the Korea–U.S. alliance.

The program began with a commemorative service, followed by the official inauguration ceremony, during which the vision and operational direction of the New York Chapter were presented.
